Files for Download

Make a link on your website that points directly to a file in your digital asset system - ImageDirector.

Utilizing ImageDirector's sophisticated Asset Management System, TAGGON is able to provide several file download link options to make the end-users experience to your site more rewarding. TAGGON offers three major types of file download links:

The Asset Download Link, which allows the end-user to click on a link to start a download of a file.

The Image Asset Download Link, which allows the end-user to click on a link or image that opens a popup presenting downloading options for different file sizes as chosen by the TAGGON editor.

The Image Preview Link, which allows the end-user to click on a link to load that link in a new popup window.

Insert an Asset Download Link

Highlight the word(s) that you want to utilise as the download link. Click the Insert Asset icon to load the Image Chooser window which provides you with a choice of all files from the entire ImageDirector Asset Management System. Simply navigate through the categories till you find the asset you are looking for and click on the thumbnail. The Image Chooser will be closed and a link will be created upon publishing the page that will allow users to download the file.

Insert an Image Asset Download Link

Highlight the word(s) that you want to utilise as the download link, or place the cursor where you intend to place an image for the download link. Click the Insert Asset icon to load the Image Chooser window which provides you with a choice of all files from the entire ImageDirector Asset Management System. Simply navigate through the categories till you find the image you are looking for and click on the Link icon. Check the file size that you wish to make available to the end-user of your site then click the Insert Image button to apply the link. The Image Chooser will be closed and a link will be applied to your selection upon publishing the page that will allow users to download the file from a popup window with the selected file options.

Insert an Image Preview Link

Highlight the word(s) that you want to utilise as the image preview link. Click the Insert Asset icon to load the Image Chooser window which provides you with a choice of all files from the entire ImageDirector Asset Management System. Simply navigate through the categories till you find the asset you are looking for and click on the thumbnail. The Image Chooser will be closed and a link will be created upon publishing the page that will allow users to preview the image in a popup window.
