A table is made up of rows and columns of cells that you can fill with text and graphics. Tables are often used to organize and present information. They are also used to create interesting, clean page layouts on your Web pages by designating sections of your page to specific information thereby forcing areas of the page to align correctly to one another. For more specific information on tables in general please review the help documentation that comes with most word processors.
Creating a Table
TAGGON offers a couple of ways to make a table. The best way depends on how you like to work, and on how simple or complex the table needs to be. Creating a table within TAGGON is accomplished by clicking on the Insert Table icon on the toolbar or by selecting Table from the Insert option of the Table menu.
When using a Insert Table icon method a submenu will appear on the screen. Moving the mouse cursor over the submenu highlights the number of columns and rows you wish to start the new table with. When you are satisfied with your selection left click on the submenu with the appropriate columns and rows selected, default settings will be applied for the table's properties. If you wish to cancel the procedure click anywhere on the screen outside of the submenu.
Alternatively if you choose to insert the table from the Insert menu, the Insert Table dialogue box will appear on the screen, allowing you to select the rows, columns, layout, and spacing of the table you wish to insert.
