Copying and Pasting

TAGGON allows for full mobility of content to and from the clipboard both directly within the TAGGON environment, and while interacting with external programs. Copying and pasting content is the method to which this is acchieved. The following is a description of each command and how TAGGON applies that command. In general the command should function like any similar command you are familiar with, such as from a word processor. However when applying to formatting there are some things you should be aware of.

Cut
Copies the selected content to the clipboard and deletes the selected content. To execute this command click on the Cut icon on the toolbar. Alternatively the command can be found under the Edit menu as Cut.

Copy
Copies the selected content to the clipboard and leaves the selected content in place. To execute this command click on the Copy icon on the toolbar. Alternatively the command can be found under the Edit menu as Copy.

Paste
Pastes the content of the clipboard into the current selection or cursor location.

Content from TAGGON will retain formatting.
Content from external programs will have all formatting removed.

To execute this command click on the Paste icon on the toolbar. Alternatively the command can be found under the Edit menu as Paste.

Content Needs Clean-up of Formatting

If you wish to remove the formatting information of a selection, you can utilise the manual Clear Formatting feature. Make your selection and choose Clear Formatting in the Format menu to remove all formatting. The selection reverts to the default style of the core style sheet.

Content Needs Clean-up of Office Code

Clean Office Code will remove all superfluous code information that is part of the Office product family.
