Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

Control Styles with Cascading Style Sheets

This document explains the individual style sheets that govern your web site. For more information on what a style sheet is, and how to use them please refer to Formatting Styles.

Editing Cascading Style Sheet
In order to open the Cascading Style Sheet editor you must select Style Sheet from the Edit menu.

You have access to two style sheets: the dynamic style sheet and the core style sheet.

Dynamic Style Sheet

The dynamic style sheet defines the settings of the individual styles. In order for the style feedback and style assignment functions to work properly, style entries must adhere to certain guidelines.  If unsure of any of the settings in this file please contact our support staff at the email address provided at the bottom left corner of this page.

Core Style Sheet

The core style sheet defines the default global styles that will be assigned should no style be assigned to content.

Limit Fonts Available

In order to limit fonts available in the user's font selector, you should enter the fonts into the dynamic.css file.

Assigning Styles to the Style Pulldown Menu

The Style Pulldown menu is populated by the dynamic.css file.  As such any styles applied through the core.css file will not show up in the Style Pulldown unless they are explicitly copied into the dynamic.css file.
