Resizing Image

Resize an image by resizing its container and then resizing the image within it.

Every image within TAGGON is contained within a container.  Much like a photo might be contained within a picture frame.  As such there are two steps to resizing an image in TAGGON.  First you must resize of the container (picture frame) in which you wish the image to display in, and then you must resize the image within that container.  If you simply resize the image without resizing the container your image will be cropped to the size of the container.

Resizing an Image Container

To resize a container either double click on an image, or click on the Resize icon on the Image Manipulation toolbar that pops up when left-clicking on the image. Container handles will appear around your image, resize these container handles to the desired area you wish for the container.

Resizing an Image

Once you have resized the container you can resize the image safely.  To resize the image directly, left-click on the image and drag the Image Dimension handles as appropriate.  To see the effect of your resize deselect the image.  You will notice that on the Image Manipulation toolbar there is a Size selection box.  This box allows you to scale an image proportionally so that the image does not distort.  All options are percentages relative to the current image size.  The "Auto" option will scale the image proportionally to fill the image's container.  Unless you are cropping the image you will usually want to select "Auto" from the Size selection box.
